On June 20th, 150 members of World Likud and the ideological group "Altalena" gathered at the beach of Tel Aviv to commemorate 60 years to the drowning of the ship Altalena.
After gathering at the beach, the members of the group went on 2 boats and sailed to the area where the ship was drowned. In the event took place World Likud chairman, Mr. Danny Danon, and Irgun veterans, many of them actually participated in the Altalena event themselves.

Danon calls to stop Nakba Day procession
Danny Danon, the chairman of World Likud, appealed to Public Security Minister Avi Dichter on Tuesday to issue a ban on the "Nakba Day" procession to be held by Israeli Arabs on Independence Day.
